Five Finger Death Punch

Bio:Five Finger Death Punch was formed in 2005 by guitarist Zoltan Bathory (formerly of U.P.O.). Other members recruited to the band include former Motograter vocalist Ivan Moody, former W.A.S.P. members in guitarist Darrell Roberts and drummer Jeremy Spencer, and former Anubis Rising/Deadsett bassist Matt Snell.

5FDP seems to hit a chord that is sorely lacking in today’s musical climate. Their melodic aggression, the fast technical riffage contrasted by arena ready epic pieces - invoke the spirit of the glory days of metal. However, the down tuned subsonic assault definitely reminds us we’re in the 21st century. The band perfected today’s sound but fused it with yesterday’s songwritingvalues.

On the first week of it's release The Way Of The Fist landed on the Billboard 200, and became the most added record to rock/metal radio. A couple of weeks later it claimed the number 1 spot on Billboard's new artists chart and their first single "The Bleeding" is currently number 25 and climbing on the rock radio charts.
