Cashing in on the death of Michael Jackson now seems to be going online. After his father was slammed for his grab for Michael’s legacy it appears many on the auction site E-bay have caught on to the hysteria surrounding the “King of Pop’s” death. Presently there is vinyl copy of “Thriller” with a sale price of $US 1,000,000 and a few listings of the disco fueled “Off the Wall” going for the same price tag. There is nothing rare or collectible about these L.P’s but if you are after the highly sought after you better pull out your nest egg from under the mattress with the pre-Motown Jackson single “We don’t have to be over 21 (to fall in love)” being offered at $2,000,000. Be aware of fraud if you are interested in paying this costly tag.

You should check your local Salvation Army store and check it out. You might be able to pick up a vinyl copy of “Thriller” there as they are extremely common; this was the highest selling album of the century. A mint copy should be purchased for $20 or you could just download the tracks for a high quality trip down memory lane.

There are an abundance of domain names being offered, like the ridiculous $US 10,000,000,000 (ten billion) tags on thegodofpop.com/ and thekingofpopmemorabilla.com. I guess if you throw away that amount of money on these you are rich and stupid enough to look after yourself. By the way there are no bids for these so jump on line to avoid the rush.
