Michael Jackson Leaves Nothing for Former Best Friend

Years ago they were inseparable but what has become of Michael Jackson’s pet chimp Bubbles?

After the death of the “King of Pop” many have asked this question. Well the monkey is alive and well surviving Jackson in Florida’s Center for Great Apes and by all reports is holding up quiet well. The sanctuary director Patti Ragan spoke of the chimp saying, "I've seen him go to the drinking fountain, start to take a sip of water and then, when he hears one of the younger ones coming, he'll step back and let them have a sip." While adding "He's a very sweet and nice chimp, he really is.”

Once the most treasured of all of Jackson’s possessions, the chimpanzee lived with him and was his companion to parties, recording sessions, premiers and video shoots. The two were often seen clothed in similar attire. This relationship was the source of much mockery, and intense media scrutiny of the mental state of Michael and the unique lifestyle he led.

Jackson had planned to visit the chimp regularly after he moved from Neverland Ranch but staffs say he never once made the trip. Financial support for the chimp from Jackson had ceased and there is was no mention of money in his will allocated to him.

The chimp is rather carefree spending his time with new best friend forty year old chimp Sam. Michael’s death hasn’t been mentioned to Bubbles and all reports are that he is happy with his current environment and life out of the spotlight.
